THE DEMISE OF YAHOO 360

I will remember this day Monday 13th July 2009 the day Yahoo 360 closed it doors, bittersweet sometimes with fond memories, this was my first blog and my introduction to writing for myself, instead of doing it for others. By and large I shall remember it for the bad memories, for all the pain and hassles caused by a certain

few people. ( I kind of got my own back on that lol its in the book lol) If I could I would celebrate this day like we do in the UK on the 5th November 'Guy Fawkes Day', where we have bonfires and burn effigies of him and have fireworks and a party around the bonfire!

I am grateful for all the lovely people I met from Yahoo 360 many of whom are on this site, but I will always remember like many of you will too of all the low lives who tried to inflict distress on others for their own kicks. It is for this reason this network was born and why we have a policy of 'No Drama' here.

I met so many great people on there.. people who READ my poems.. and people who made comments on my blogs all were welcome because I liked to read different points of views, in that way you can say.. Hey.. I never thought of that your right!! but then 360 (for me) started getting "nasty" with people writing bad things about me, lies and more lies! I didn't answer what they had written I just read it! and wondered HOW on earth.. can people believe the words of just one person, without question!!? I once read a Jewish saying and that was.. "Lies are like feathers blowing in the wind, once they have escaped.. you can never get them back" So.. yes, 360 was great but.. also had its downfalls.. good to see a site that "Nips it in the bud" so to speak.. Goodbye 360 HELLO Astridestellas THE place to be! :) GREAT blog xx

Some people feed on Negativity, these people like to pull others down to make themselves feel better. Shirely it was surely someone who is jealous of your talent ignore it. I know it can hurt I was libelled and got called a fake, I was an old hag pasting fake pics they weren't me etc, thats why I have the video of me and I had pics of me holding up a newpaper with the date on at one point. But then I dont need to justify myself to anyone, these people do not know me and likewise they dont know you, they are losing out on having you as a good friend and their life will be the poorer for it. Pity them for they have nothing and spend your thoughts on those who are worthy of having you as a friend. They are jealous haters and that was what ultimately destroyed Yahoo 360, a rubber teeth outfit who did nothing to stop the hate and libel. My pledge to you is to make Astridestella a safe place, to fill it with love and light and as free from negativity as I possibly can. If you have a code of conduct you must adhere to it and that is what I do. Yahoo didnt.; ▶ Reply to This

You have a great site here, and its good to know there aren't going to be nasty comments like there were in 360. because all 360 became in the end was a slagging/porn site. Time to move on and do what we do best.. communicate and not write insults and hey.. if people do, its because that's ALL they can do. The pen is mightier than the sword .. wouldn't you say? *smile*; ▶ Reply to This
